Sept. 27, Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Lovilia Community Building the noodle making class will be taught by Marsha Benjamin and Sheila Dunkin.
Students must bring his/her own rolling pin, large mixing bowl, knife, and cutting board.
The class and noodle ingredients are free due to a Monroe County Foundation Arts Grant.
Each student will take home a batch of noodles for a meal.

Beginners Quilting Class
This class will be Oct. 2, Tuesday at 6-8 p.m. at the Lovilia Community Building and taught by Linda Chance. Bring your own sewing machine to the class.
Deadline to sign up for the class is Sept. 21.

The teacher will have fabric cut so each student can make one quilt block to take home with them. They could make a pillow or frame the block or come up with some other creative use.
Watercolors Class
Two of the four water color classes have been held and the students are having lots of fun and learning the basics of that medium. Juana Plum asked the students to paint a sunflower the first week and the second week they painted trees with fall foliage. Two more classes remain and the students are very excited about them.
Book Club
Book club begins Sept. 13th with the book “Joan of Arc” by Mark Twain. Ten readers have signed up to read it and return to discuss it a month later.
